On March 26, 2000, a family of four was killed in a Corydon, Indiana, home. Donna Lee Sinnett Daley, 49, was found dead inside the residence she shared with her daughter and grandchildren after responding officers encountered a house fire. Donna and her 22-year-old daughter, Summer Renea Daley Holland, had fatal gunshot wounds to the head. Two young grandchildren, four-year-old Dillian Daley and three-year-old Marissa Meyer, died of smoke inhalation caused by the blaze.

Investigators determined the fire had been set to conceal the shootings. Summer’s husband, Kelly K. Holland, alerted authorities and reported being at work before requesting a welfare check when phone calls went unanswered. Authorities noted inconsistencies in his timeline and behavior. Forensic testing reportedly detected accelerant on his clothing and shoes, and ballistics testing linked shell casings at the scene to a firearm Holland had borrowed. Holland was arrested and charged with four counts of murder and one count of arson.

Did anyone in the area know the family or notice anything unusual about them in the weeks before March 26, 2000?
