On March 26, 2000, a rural home on Wiseman Road in Corydon, Indiana, was found partially burned and the interior scene showed lethal violence. Twenty-two-year-old Summer Renea Daley Holland and her 49-year-old mother, Donna Lee Sinnett Daley, were found with fatal gunshot wounds to the head from a 9mm. Summer’s two young children, four-year-old Dillian Daley and three-year-old Marissa Meyer, were found in separate bedrooms and died of smoke inhalation after a living-room fire had been intentionally set.

Summer’s husband of four months, Kelly K. Holland, worked nights at a Kroger distribution center in Louisville and reported finding the house smoking that morning. Investigators later learned a National Guard colleague had loaned Holland a 9mm handgun shortly before the killings; ballistics matched shell casings to that gun and accelerant was detected on Holland’s clothing. He failed a polygraph, was arrested and charged with four counts of murder and one count of arson, and was convicted and sentenced to life without parole.

Are there neighbors or others who remember unusual activity around the house in the days before March 26, 2000?
