Mark A Kelley, also known as Mark Anthony Kelley Sr., was found dead at a home in the 4300 block of Declaration Drive on Indianapolis’ south side on October 5, 2013. He was 49 and suffered fatal injuries; police treated the death as a homicide and processed the residence for evidence.

The killing came during a violent period for Indianapolis and Marion County that year. Public reports did not clarify the events leading up to the attack, and no motive or suspects were publicly identified. No arrests were announced, and the case later became cold while remaining an unsolved homicide.
