Hi everyone. I've been following Malcolm Hobbs' case for a while now, and I just can't stop thinking about how his quiet presence must have been a constant for his neighbors in Bauneg Beg Hill. I recently stumbled upon a small detail that got me curious. Did anyone else hear about the odd set of tire tracks found just off the main driveway to the farmhouse? I recall reading somewhere that investigators thought they might belong to someone familiar with the area, given how well-hidden the tracks ... ...View Post & Comment
That’s very interesting! Where did you read or hear about the tire tracks? And have you heard of any other details? It’s so sad it seems like he was a sweet elderly man who didn’t deserve such an end. ... ...View Post & Comment
Looks like the "tire tracks" isn\'t anything that I found verifiable in my searches. Must have come from somewhere though. Maybe it is not public knowledge. Police sometimes hold on to things and don\'t release information for various reasons. I dug around sounds like that might be a rumor started by someone.... ...View Post & Comment
I've been following the tragic case of Dr. William Bryan Tucker, and one aspect that's been really puzzling to me is the level of ransacking at his home. It just seems so chaotic and desperate. Was it just a break-in gone terribly wrong, or was there something more? Considering his respected status in the community, it makes you wonder if this was targeted or if the perpetrators were oblivious to who he was. It's hard to imagine the fear he must have felt in those last moments. I'm really hoping... ...View Post & Comment
What do you know about how much ransacking there was? I have heard both that it was "clearly" a robbery gone wrong, and also nothing was taken.... ...View Post & Comment

I’ve been following the Zelma Anderson case for a while now, and there's one detail that keeps popping up in my mind. The location where her remains were found—the abandoned strip mine near McDowell—has always struck me as particularly eerie and telling. It's not the kind of place someone just stumbles across by accident; it feels deliberate. It makes me wonder whether the person responsible knew the area well, or even had some sort of connection to it.The remoteness of the mine also impli... ...View Post & Comment

I’ve been following the Zelma Anderson case for a while now, and the thing that gets to me is the discovery of her remains in such a secluded strip mine near McDowell. It seems like whoever did this knew the area well enough to pick a spot that wouldn't be stumbled upon for months. It's truly unsettling to think about how isolated the location is—it’s almost like someone wanted her to disappear entirely. Orkney and McDowell aren't exactly bustling with people, especially back in the early ... ...View Post & Comment

I’ve been following the case of Barbara June Hammonds and her family, and I can't stop thinking about the community's reaction to such a tragic event. Jonesborough is such a tight-knit place, and from what I've read, the outpouring of support for the grieving family has been incredible. I have been following the case of Barbara June Hammonds and her family, and something about the way the community came together in the aftermath really stood out to me. It's so touching to see how small towns like Jonesborough rally to support one another during such an unimaginable time. I'm really disturbed after reading about Travon Jamal Davis's tragic passing at The Hub at Nora. I've been following the case, and it feels like there's a lot that needs to be dug into here. It's unsettling to hear that there was a domestic incident between Davis and the suspect just a month before. Has anyone else looked into the friendships Jake Green and Mabel Manley might have had in the Kansas City community before their disappearances? It seems like with such a tight-knit workplace at the tavern, there might have been coworkers or regular patrons who noticed something off or unusual in the days leading up to March 2, 1972. Given the era and the close community ties back then, maybe there were some tensions or odd interactions that weren't given much thought at the time but could be si... ...View Post & Comment

I've been thinking a lot about the families of Jake Green and Mabel Manley. It must be incredibly difficult for them to not have closure after so many years. Hey everyone,I've been following Halana Zakaria's case closely, and something that piqued my interest is the timing of her last known whereabouts. Court records confirm Halana was still in custody through June 15, 2023. NamUs currently lists June 10, 2023 as her last known date, which doesn’t match the custody records.
