I was just reviewing some of the details around Kylie Christine Hartman’s disappearance, and I'm curious if anyone noticed what the vibe was like at Break n' Run bar that night. Those kinds of places can sometimes have regulars who might have seen something, even if they didn’t realize it at the time. It’s also strange that police haven’t found a solid connection between her and Crystal Beal, despite the proximity and similar timing of their disappearances. With the mention of Zachary Heb... ...View Post & Comment
I've been deeply following the tragic case of Michael Coleman, and something that has been weighing heavily on me is the response from the community. It's truly gut-wrenching to see how many lives he touched, and how his loss is being felt far and wide. On the Gun Memorial website, 58 candles burn brightly in his memory, each one a testament to the love and respect people had for him. It’s moving to read the personal messages from friends and family, like the one that said, “I love you and m... ...View Post & Comment
Thank you so much for this beautiful message!! I was Michael’s girlfriend at the time of death and I am the one who wrote that message on the gun memorial. Unfortunately the gun memorial is ran by the police so all of those messages from me and his family have been completely deleted. Michael was an amazing man, he was kind, caring and had a big heart. I was with him on the day he died, it’s been 2 months and I am still grieving heavily. Again thank you for your kind words about Michael, he... ...View Post & Comment
I feat this is one where the lack of a body has hindered the case, as it seems pretty obvious, per the Charlotte Observer article, that his former bosses at the garage, MS and ND, were involved. If you read the article, he worked with MS and ND at the D&S Garage in Marshville (which was owned by ND and MS). MS was the last person to see him alive. ND was a known associate of the Hell\'s Angels, and, after the second burglary, allowed the Hell\'s Angels suspects *to stay at his house.* So ND (so... ...View Post & Comment
You\'re right to point out how critical the Charlotte Observer article is to understanding the context of Ferguson’s disappearance. From what\'s reported, Ferguson worked at D&S Garage in Marshville, which was co-owned by MS and ND. MS was reportedly the last person to see him alive, and ND had known ties to the Hells Angels. Not only that, but after the second burglary—where gang members were suspected—ND even let some of them stay at his house.... ...View Post & Comment
Hey everyone, I've been following Giovanni Alvarez's case closely and something that really stands out to me is the role of video surveillance in solving this tragic crime. It's chilling to think about the existence of such footage, but in this case, it was crucial to convicting the murderer. While it's awful imagining anyone witnessing their loved one in distress, the footage was undeniably pivotal for the prosecution.I can't help but wonder how often video surveillance plays a role in cases li... ...View Post & Comment

I was reading through the old case files about Nancy Wroblewski and noticed something intriguing—her van was found at the South Bend Regional Airport the day after she went missing. Here's what puzzles me: Was there any surveillance footage at the airport around that time? Granted, it was 1990, and technology wasn't what it is today, but airports usually have some sort of security system even back then, right? If there was footage, what did it show? If there wasn’t any, could we assume that ... ...View Post & Comment
Did they fingerprint the van? I mean, that would rule out someone other than the husband. Unfortunately it is usually the person closest to the victim. Anyone know why she was upset at the Church event? And leaving in November in Indiana on foot? That is wintertime. That is a load of #^%&% if I ever heard it.... ...View Post & Comment

Does anyone else find it odd how Elaina's case wasn't reported until three days after she vanished? I can't wrap my head around why it took so long to reach out to the authorities. Given that she was only 13, one would think immediate action would be a natural response. I understand that this was the '80s and times were different, but still. Three days is a pretty significant delay, especially given her young age. I wonder if there was any specific reason for this lag or if it somehow hindered t... ...View Post & Comment
I\'m from Ramona and I knew Elaina. It was summer break and it was not uncommon for us kids to leave Friday evening and go to a friend\'s house for a few days. Elaina\'s parent\'s didn\'t realize something was wrong until Sunday night and by Monday they knew something was really wrong. They didn\'t have a phone so on Monday her Dad Manny went into the sheriff\'s office for help. ... ...View Post & Comment
Thanks for sharing that. It’s heartbreaking to hear, and I can only imagine how hard that time was for everyone in the community. It’s important for people to understand how different things were back then—how common it was for kids to be out of touch for a few days, and how not having a phone could delay getting help. Thank you for giving that context. Elaina’s story clearly still means a lot to those who knew her.... ...View Post & Comment
What breaks my heart even more is knowing that Elaina’s story isn’t an isolated one. So many Native girls and women have gone missing or been harmed, and too often their cases don’t get the attention or urgency they deserve. I've been following the case of Nathaniel Gage Jones, and I can't help but feel for his family, especially his adoptive parents, Bill and Vicki. Imagine raising someone as your own for over two decades and then having this happen just before Christmas. I was really close to them when this happened but mainly I was close to Charly. Both the victim and the perpetrator had severe mental issues. The parents knew this. Yeah when it came to getting Charly help mentally he was told essentially that they thought he was faking. Seeing the conditions they lived in and seeing how the children were treated in that household this is not something that surprise... ...View Post & Comment
It's just so difficult to wrap my head around the fact that a young life like Nathaniel's was cut short on what should have been a joyful holiday. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be in unimaginable pain right now. It's also troubling to see someone as young as Charly caught up in something so dark. I’ve been following Linda Kay Carroll’s case for a while now, and something keeps bothering me about the note found at her home. The fact that its authenticity is in question is huge! Hey everyone, I recently came across Clarence Dagnan's case from 1997, and something that really stood out to me is the strange detail about him taking all his clothes with him before he disappeared.
