I've been following Megan Banks' case, and I can't shake off the unsettling feeling about the lack of arrests. It’s truly distressing to think about what her family, especially Cheryl Banks, must be going through knowing the person responsible is still at large. I keep wondering if there's more to the story that hasn't been released. Has anyone else noticed how quiet everything's gone? It seems like after the initial reports, there hasn't been much movement. It’s hard not to speculate when i... ...View Post & Comment
Hello,I am Megan's brother. There is a lot more to the story. Darrell left his vehicle at Megan's home and guiltily came to get it without interacting with her family and friends. Cheryl believed he murdered Megan. She stated the gunshots sounded muffled, like a can being popped open under a pillow. She was very sickly and could not navigate the stairs in the loft bedroom Megan was in with Darrell. I got an update from the Hampton PD Office/Dectective Bryce Kiser and J. Loney about 2 or 3 years ... ...View Post & Comment
While reading about Megan Banks' case, I came across something that's been on my mind. It seems there are a lot of questions about why no arrests have been made yet. I can't help but wonder if there's some kind of legal complexity that's preventing things from moving forward. It must be incredibly frustrating and confusing for Megan's family and friends to be left in the dark about what's happening. With her mother present during the incident, I imagine that must weigh heavily on her, dealing wi... ...View Post & Comment
Hello,I am Megan\'s brother, Brandon. I got an update from the Hampton PD Office/Dectective Bryce Kiser and J. Loney about 2 or 3 years ago. After weeks of playing phone tag and no response to my numerous emails and letters. The Commonwealth Attorney, Anton Bell, refuses to press charges against Megan\'s killer, her then-boyfriend, Darrell Lamont Boyd, because there is not enough evidence to press murder charges. This has been a very heartbreaking experience trying to get justice for my Me... ...View Post & Comment
I hope they all got life without parole. Police officers put themselves in danger every day. They are verbally abused by some of the public and just outright killed. They don\'t even make a whole lot of money. What a thankless job. Rest in peace Officer Pocceschi.... ...View Post & Comment

What a terrible thing to carry. Your father died before you were born and you don\'t know who did it. This is a frustrating case. His family does not deserve this turmoil when they should have just been focused on the joy of a new life in the family. My heart goes out to them. ... ...View Post & Comment
How important is this case to the local authorities exactly? There has been nothing new since 2024 and what information was released was an almost inaudible conversation on what we already knew and a sketch that has turned up nothing. How many people seen Brittany with this man, do they all agree on the sketch of the man or is that just one person\'s account of him? The vehicle they were in was recovered correct? Was there no DNA evidence or finger prints to be found in the car. What about at he... ...View Post & Comment
Seems to be another case of what you can prove. The evidence points directly to who he was having a custody dispute with. Someday hopefully the truth will come to light.... ...View Post & Comment
Does anyone else find it puzzling that Johnnie Joe Herrera's car has never turned up? A light blue 1969 Volkswagen Beetle isn't exactly a nondescript vehicle, even back in the '70s. You'd think someone would have come across it somewhere over the years, especially with its distinctive color and the license plate number ZWM775. Was there ever a search for it in scrap yards or junkyards around Oxnard or neighboring areas at the time? It's almost like both Johnnie and the Beetle vanished off the fa... ...View Post & Comment
I agree. The missing car is suspicious. The obvious conclusion would be that he crashed into a waterway and has been submerged for fifty-five years. I think it\'d be interesting to know where exactly Johnnie and his wife were living at the time he vanished. I was able to find an address of the house he grew up in and they were indeed living with his parents at that address, it would have only been a three-minute drive between there an the 700 block of West Cedar Street where the party was held. ... ...View Post & Comment
I think sometimes these killers confess to killings because they want the attention. It can be pretty lonely in prison. This monster was created and cultivated from childhood. People should have go to classes and have a license to have a kid. Most important job a person can do in life is to raise a functioning member of society. So many fail.... ...View Post & Comment
You are correct about sometimes people confess to crimes they didn\'t commit, for the notority that comes with high profile cases. There have been instances where police and FBI have had to sift through hundreds of false claims of commiting a murder. Sometimes it\'s people who are mentally ill, other times it\'s people who just want to stir the pot so to speak. It does make it much harder for agencies to get to the actual truth. This is why not every detail from an unsolved crime is released t... ...View Post & Comment
Yet again a case of the most dangerous time for a woman is when she lays down boundaries and leaves an abusive relationship. I know there are agencies out there to help women but the word needs to get out to these women when you leave is when it is most dangerous for you. Protect yourself. Just because you don\'t \'think\' he would go that far doesn\'t mean he won\'t. Better safe then dead.... ...View Post & Comment
