Hi everyone,I've been following the discussions around Sheryl Murwin's case, and something that stands out to me is the chilling pattern of disappearances and murders in that area during the mid-90s. It's so distressing to think about the fear and uncertainty the women in that community must have felt back then.I’ve been reading up on Arlie Ray Davis, and while it’s reassuring he's been brought to justice for some of his crimes, I can't help but think about the lasting impact on the families... ...View Post & Comment
I am Sheryls oldest daughter. And while it may have brought comfort to some that the cops ‘Assumed’ Davis killed my mom there was never any actual physical evidence to confirming that. They only were able to convict him for 1 murder. They assumed it was David because Sheryl actually knew him ... ...View Post & Comment
I’m so sorry you’ve had to carry all of this, especially the way “assumptions” can get repeated until they start sounding like facts.... ...View Post & Comment
I've been following Coral O'Brien's case closely, and am really struck by the chilling fact that no one called 911 immediately after the gunshots were heard. I can't help but wonder if the outcome could have been different had someone acted sooner. It's truly disturbing to think that in a community setting like the Whitman Houses, such a horrifying event could be ignored or unnoticed for nearly an hour. The silence of potential witnesses is baffling, and I can’t imagine how Coral’s loved one... ...View Post & Comment
I looked for any public reporting of an arrest, indictment, or official “case closed” update tied to Coral O’Brien’s July 21, 2016 homicide at 56 North Oxford Walk (Walt Whitman Houses), and I’m not seeing anything that indicates the case has been solved publicly.... ...View Post & Comment
Is anyone else curious about the timing of Ann Marie Nevins' call to her boyfriend on the night she disappeared? The exact time of that call could be crucial. Was it before or after closing hours at the pub? If she called right before closing, it might mean she planned to leave with someone, or someone was waiting for her outside. On the other hand, if it was later, it might suggest she ran into trouble after leaving. Do we know if the pub had surveillance cameras back then or if anyone there re... ...View Post & Comment

Ann was my foster sister. She lived with me for close to 15 years. She went missing the year I graduated from college. I've been following Wanda Line's case for a while and something that strikes me is how little is known about her life leading up to the tragedy. From what I understand, she was staying at a friend's apartment at 100 Darien Avenue. Does anyone know more about who this friend was and how they might connect to her last known movements? It was mentioned that she was last seen by a co-worker on January 2, so I've been wondering if anyone else might have seen her after that. It's so sad to think that ... ...View Post & Comment
Has anyone else noticed the weird circumstances around Wilton Whitaker's disappearance date? February 14th is Valentine's Day, which is typically a day spent with loved ones. It makes me wonder if something significant happened that day which led to his disappearance. Did Wilton have any plans or appointments that day? Or maybe there were tensions or conflicts that could have escalated? It just seems like such a specific date to go missing. Wondering if anyone has any insight into his activities... ...View Post & Comment
Have any of you seen the recent news about Wilton Whitaker's disappearance? What really jumped out at me is the timeline surrounding his last known whereabouts. According to reports, Wilton was last seen leaving work around 6 p.m. on February 13, 2002. But what's odd is that his car was found in the parking lot of a nearby grocery store the next day, with no sign of him anywhere. It makes me wonder if he had planned to meet someone there or if something else happened. Did anyone else find it stra... ...View Post & Comment

I came across Andrea Cotten's case recently, and something that's been puzzling me is the role of the unidentified men she was last seen with. There’s not much detail available about them, and I'm wondering if more information has ever come out. Could they have been associates or just strangers she met that day? It’s hard to imagine that no one else has come forward with details about them, especially since Andrea's departure seems so crucial to understanding what happened later. I also keep... ...View Post & Comment
I have asked my sister about them .yself she described one guy as having his front teeth lines with silver around the tooth, and didnt speak english the other one did and she said one was quiet and kind of intimidating. But if u look at January 2005 in corsicana there is a man that was reported missing one year from andreas, i wish the police would look better into that report what if they mistakenly said the wrong year or misinterpreted with translation or waited before reporting him. I have tr... ...View Post & Comment
Thank you for sharing this. The detail about one man’s front teeth looking lined with silver and not speaking English is really specific and could be important. The idea about the January 2005 missing man is also worth flagging to investigators, especially since reporting dates can be wrong or delayed. If you’re comfortable, it may help to send a tip directly to Corsicana PD or NCMEC with your sister’s description and the connection you noticed, plus the beer incident and the man’s build... ...View Post & Comment
It’s been tough following the details of Jaime Barba’s case, especially knowing what his family has been going through. One thing I can’t stop thinking about is how this whole situation must have deeply affected the neighborhood where it happened. The way you wrote about “I’ll be back”… that landed like a bell. It captures exactly what people who haven’t lived this kind of loss often miss: the “ordinary” moments don’t feel ordinary anymore—they become sacred and unbearable at the same time. And you’re right: grief doesn’t follow the calendar. It doesn’t get quieter just because the world expects it to.... ...View Post & Comment
There seems to be an interest concerning the car of the missing subject. Past cases involving missing cars have usually resulted in the vehicles being found in a body of water, or in thick vegetation. Harriman was looking for water-front property along Texas\' southern coast, so it is more likely that is the status of her vehicle. Not every case is nefarious though every missing person case we investigate is treated as a crime until proven otherwise.... ...View Post & Comment
Thanks for raising this — the vehicle is definitely a key piece. In a number of missing-person cases, cars are eventually located in bodies of water or in areas with heavy vegetation, and given she was scouting property toward the coast, that’s one possibility investigators consider. At the same time, we can’t rule anything in or out without evidence. Like you said, we treat missing-person cases as potential crimes until facts prove otherwise, and we encourage anyone with specific informat... ...View Post & Comment
The news keeps repeating the same thing over and over. Does anyone have any real updates or did they just search a property and didn\'t find anything? It probably is, but in reality the media is mostly at fault. The public can be brutal for sure but they are just ruling out possible suspects and tips and then the media sensationalizes it. Sad for this guy and his family. What a crazy case, I pray for a good resolution.... ...View Post & Comment
Does anyone else remember the candlelight vigil they held for Daesean? Nearly 400 people came out to support the Hill family and pay respects to little DaeDae. I've been digging into Andrea Cotten's disappearance and something that's been on my mind is the timing right before her scheduled visit with her child. It just seems so unlikely that she would willingly miss such an important meeting.
