In the early morning hours of a cold Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of Dillon Simmons, a 22-year-old man, was tragically cut short. On January 30, 2022, police were called to a residence in the eastern part of the city, a block south of Cypress Park, where they found Simmons inside, suffering from gunshot wounds.
