In the early morning hours of a Monday in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of 33-year-old Mondrell L. Smallwood was tragically cut short. On December 6, 2021, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the vicinity of 11612 Hickman Mills Drive after reports of a shooting.
