In a north St. Louis County home, the life of 13-year-old Nevaeh Smallwood was tragically cut short by a gunshot wound. The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon in the 10200 block of Lynncrest Court. When St. Louis County police officers arrived at the scene, they found Nevaeh Smallwood suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
