On May 3, 2021, police in St. Louis, Missouri, responded to a call in the Tower Grove South neighborhood regarding a shooting. Upon arrival at the 4300 block of Tholozan Avenue, officers discovered the body of 36-year-old Eric Gardner. Authorities identified the victim as a resident of the same block where he was found.
