On the evening of April 14, 2021, 29-year-old Marshall Frenchie was fatally shot in Jennings, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. The incident occurred around 8:55 p.m. while Frenchie was seated in the driver's seat of a vehicle in the drive-thru line of a Sonic restaurant located at 8431 Lucas and Hunt Road. St. Louis County Police officers responded to a call regarding the shooting and arrived to find the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
