In a heartbreaking turn of events on a Monday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri, 1-year-old Tyron Payton lost his life in a senseless act of violence. The young male was seated in the back of a parked car in the 2900 block of East 33rd Street when an individual approached and opened fire on the vehicle. The gunfire struck the child, as well as his parents who were in the front seats. A fourth adult in the car was physically unharmed.
