Derrick J. Ayers, a 27-year-old resident of Florissant, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 13, 2020. The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning at a residence in the 600 block of Starlet. According to reports, police responded to a call around 3 a.m. and found Ayers in the front doorway of the home with a single gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
