On August 4, 2020, officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the Alcazar Apartments located at 105 West 39th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, following reports of a homicide. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered the body of 34-year-old Henry Hampton in a stairwell of the apartment complex.
