On the evening of June 10, 2020, a violent incident unfolded in the Tower Grove East neighborhood of Saint Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of a young local resident. Markeze Gray-Williams, a 22-year-old male, was near the intersection of Arsenal Street and Gravois Avenue when he was targeted by gunfire. He resided just a block away from where the shooting occurred, making the tragedy strike particularly close to home for the surrounding community.
