In the Walnut Park East neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, a life was tragically cut short on the evening of April 15, 2020. Tony Smith, a 31-year-old Black man, was found by police responding to a call for a shooting. He was discovered inside a vehicle, having sustained fatal injuries from gunfire.
Officers arrived at the scene in the 5800 block of Theodore Avenue to find a car that had collided with a parked vehicle. Inside, they found Smith, who was pronounced dead at the location. T
