On the afternoon of April 1, 2020, violence erupted in the Bevo neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of a local teenager. Larry Jordan Jr., a 17-year-old male, was in the 4500 block of Ridgewood Avenue when he became the target of a shooting. Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 5:34 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jordan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
