On February 25, 2020, authorities in St. Louis, Missouri, began a homicide investigation following the discovery of a deceased male in the northern section of the city. The victim was identified as Mack Hamilton, a 30-year-old resident of the nearby suburb of Florissant. Police were initially summoned to the scene where they located Hamilton inside a vehicle, unresponsive and suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
