A night of celebration turned into a scene of tragedy for 25-year-old Raeven Parks on January 19, 2020, in Kansas City, Missouri. Parks was among a crowd of people outside the 9ine Ultra Lounge, located in the 4800 block of Noland Road, when gunfire erupted. The gathering was in honor of the Kansas City Chiefs' victory that had secured them a spot in the Super Bowl. When the shooting ceased, Parks was found deceased in the parking lot.
