In the early hours of a chilly Monday in November, the quiet streets of Moline Acres, a neighborhood in north St. Louis County, were disturbed by the sound of a car crash. It was around 12:10 a.m. on November 11, 2019, when police responded to the 9800 block of Portage Drive. There, they discovered a car that had collided with a parked vehicle. Inside, they found 40-year-old Gregory Pickett, a resident of Glen Owen Drive.
