Destiny Brooks, a 33-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically passed away on June 4, 2019. Destiny was born on April 24, 1986, and was known for her dedication to nursing and her love for the outdoors and her children. On the day of her death, Destiny was found with gunshot wounds in a park area near 11th and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City. Despite being rushed to Truman Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries.
