In the winter of 2018, a promising young man's life was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. Christian J. Olivarez, a 20-year-old male, was found shot to death on the evening of December 30th in the front yard of a residence in the 7500 block of Oakland Avenue. The young man, who had moved to the Kansas City area from Kokomo, Indiana, in 2012, was remembered by loved ones as an avid athlete with a love for video games and a talent for making those around him laugh.
