In the early morning hours of December 28, 2018, a grim discovery was made in a quiet section of North St. Louis, Missouri, near the historic Bellefontaine Cemetery. Police officers patrolling the area located a parked vehicle in the 5300 block of Geraldine Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. Inside the car, authorities found two individuals who were unresponsive. One of the victims was identified as Vincent Cole, a 32-year-old Black male, who had sustained fatal injuries alongside a female companion.
