On the afternoon of Sunday, October 28, 2018, violence erupted in a residential neighborhood of St. Louis County, claiming the life of a young man. Eighteen-year-old Kamal Jackson Jr. was walking along the 10300 block of Lilac Avenue, located near the Riverview Gardens Senior High School in north St. Louis County.
