In the autumn of 2018, the life of 18-year-old Serenity Roby-Williams was cut tragically short in Kansas City, Missouri. On the afternoon of Saturday, October 20th, police were called to the 6900 block of East 114th Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered several individuals attempting to render aid to Serenity, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
