In the warm summer night of June 18, 2018, the life of 29-year-old Gerald Robinson, a Black male from St. Louis, Missouri, was tragically cut short. The vibrant atmosphere outside the Olive Bar in the city's Midtown area turned into a scene of violence when gunfire erupted, leaving Robinson with multiple gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene, his death quickly becoming the subject of a homicide investigation.
