In the early morning hours of February 10, 2017, police in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a residential neighborhood following reports of a medical emergency. Upon arriving at the scene in the 2300 block of Drury Avenue, officers discovered the body of 23-year-old Michael C. Day lying in the street.
