In the early morning hours of August 13, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of nine-year-old Jayden Ugwuh was tragically cut short in an act of senseless gun violence. Jayden, a young male, was at home with his family when a barrage of approximately 20 bullets was fired into the residence. At the time of the shooting, six young cousins were inside the house, along with their mothers. The home, which should have been a place of safety and comfort, became a scene of unimaginable horror.
