Malik Barbour, a 20-year-old resident of Lee's Summit, Missouri, tragically lost his life on July 16, 2016. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of SE Long Place. Upon arrival, officers found Barbour lying on the sidewalk, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
