In the autumn of 2015, the life of 34-year-old Jimmy Smith was violently cut short in his neighborhood of Wellston, a municipality in St. Louis County, Missouri. On the evening of Tuesday, September 29th, gunshots rang out in the 1100 block of Sutter Avenue, a residential street Smith called home. When the sound faded, Smith was left with fatal injuries.
