In September 2014, the life of 24-year-old Darnell Robinson was tragically cut short in St. Louis. On the evening of September 4th, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in the 1700 block of N. 20th Street. After extinguishing the blaze, they made a grim discovery inside the car. In the driver's seat was the body of Darnell Robinson, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his head. His death was one of six homicides that occurred in St. Louis within a harrowing 18-hour period.
