On the afternoon of Monday, February 3, 2014, the body of 39-year-old Alando Lee Scott was discovered in the Holly Hills neighborhood of South St. Louis, Missouri. Officers were dispatched to the 7800 block of Goya Place, near the intersection of Alaska Avenue and Primm Street, around 3:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, first responders found Scott lying on the ground next to his vehicle with the driver’s side door standing open.
