In the late evening of May 1, 2020, the life of 34-year-old Jamaal Cordrey was tragically cut short in a violent altercation at an apartment complex on Reddin Road in North Charleston, South Carolina. The incident, which involved multiple gunshots, resulted in the death of not only Cordrey but also a second victim, 60-year-old Jesse White. White succumbed to a combination of gunshot wounds and injuries from a sharp object.
