In the quiet evening of February 4, 2018, the life of 24-year-old Corey Gabe Jr., a Black male from Charleston, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Around 8:15 PM, Charleston Police responded to a call on Jaywood Circle in the West Ashley area, where they discovered Gabe unresponsive on the ground, the victim of a fatal shooting.
