In the early morning hours of May 2, 2017, the life of 40-year-old Jamol Horton of Ridgeland, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Horton, a male, was discovered with a gunshot wound to his chest at a residence on Oak Park Road in the Wagon Branch area of Ridgeland. The discovery was made around 6:30 a.m. after a deputy from the Jasper County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the home following a report of a shooting.
