On a winter afternoon in Baltimore, the life of Joseph Bright, a 63-year-old Black man, was irrevocably altered. On December 2, 2022, at approximately 2:40 p.m., in the 100 block of West Hamburg Street, Bright was shot. The incident left him with severe injuries that he would battle for nearly a year.
