In the late summer of 2022, a young man named Julian Fruh, who was 19 years old, was just beginning to map out his future. Having recently graduated from high school, he had secured his very first job as a security officer with Allied Universal. The position was an assignment to the Marble Hall Garden Apartments, a complex near Morgan State University in Baltimore where many students resided.
