In the summer of 2022, a violent encounter in Baltimore irrevocably altered the course of Nigel Arrington's life. On August 10th, the 24-year-old Black male was shot in the 5300 block of Eastbury Avenue. The shooting left him a quadriplegic, beginning a long and arduous journey of medical treatment and rehabilitation that spanned over a year.
