In the summer of 2022, a young man’s life was tragically cut short in Hyattsville, Maryland. Damonte Darius Bonner, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, July 15th. The incident occurred at approximately 8:35 p.m. in the 3500 block of 55th Avenue in an unincorporated section of Hyattsville.
