On the evening of June 5, 2022, emergency services in Baltimore, Maryland, responded to what was initially reported as a vehicle crash in the 2500 block of Sinclair Lane. Upon arrival at the intersection with Belair Road around 8:15 p.m., first responders discovered the male driver, identified as 31-year-old Denard Hunt, inside his car suffering from a gunshot wound.
