In the spring of 2022, a dispute in East Baltimore escalated to a fatal encounter, claiming the life of 39-year-old Kennod Lamont Taylor. On the evening of May 9, at approximately 9:43 p.m., police responded to a shot spotter alert in the 3000 block of East Preston Street.
