On a Sunday afternoon in Baltimore, the sound of gunfire shattered the calm on Parkwood Avenue. It was around 12:40 p.m. on December 5, 2021, when officers on patrol in the Western District heard the shots and saw people fleeing the 2900 block of the street. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
