In June of 2021, the tragic death of 18-year-old Kozee Spriggs unfolded in Baltimore, Maryland. A Black female, Spriggs was reported missing on June 8, 2021. Her decomposing body was later discovered on June 15 in a backyard in the 1300 block of Ensor Street. The medical examiner ruled her death a homicide.
