On April 7, 2021, 28-year-old Gerald Nash, a male resident of Caroline County, Maryland, was fatally shot in Salisbury. The incident unfolded in the early morning hours inside a residence on Hill Street. An assailant entered the home through an unlocked rear door and shot Nash multiple times as he lay in bed. Emergency services transported Nash to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
