In the evening hours of September 9, 2020, tragedy struck in the Frankford neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore. Malique Georges, a 21-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in the 5200 block of Goodnow Road. The Baltimore Police Department responded to a call for a shooting at approximately 9:11 p.m. and discovered Georges suffering from gunshot wounds.
