In the summer of 2020, a shooting in Baltimore claimed the life of 32-year-old Asmar Rashad Holland. On the evening of Monday, June 29, 2020, Holland was in the 1300 block of South Ponca Street when he was targeted in a fatal act of gun violence.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but Holland succumbed to his injuries. The Baltimore Police Department's homicide unit took charge of the investigation into the shooting.
