In the spring of 2020, a tragic event unfolded in a Chillum, Maryland apartment building that claimed the life of a young woman. On the evening of April 10th, emergency services responded to a fire at a second-floor apartment on Highview Terrace. Inside, firefighters made a grim discovery; the body of 23-year-old Zena Nichols was found in a bedroom, suffering from severe burns. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
