In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 9, 2019, tragedy struck in north Baltimore when 30-year-old David Gilliam, a Black male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Belle Terra Avenue, where police responded to reports of a shooting just after 7 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Gilliam with a gunshot wound to his back.
