In the warm evening of Labor Day, September 2, 2019, the life of 17-year-old Bailey Reeves was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Baltimore, Maryland. A Black transgender female, Bailey was attending a cookout with friends in the 4300 block of Parkwood Avenue when the shooting occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m.
