In the late hours of June 13, 2019, the life of 36-year-old Jawan Dukes was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. A Black male, Dukes was discovered inside a vehicle in the 2000 block of Hollins Ferry Road just before midnight, suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them shortly after arrival.
